We’ve got you covered. Your kids will get to experience a variety of activities including sports, music, arts, drama, nature, science, dance, recreational games and more, all while making friends. Camp Kid Point offers week-long day camps for kids 4-12 years old. We provide full days of remote leaning support and unique, fun, and enriching camp experiences for your school-age child(ren). Each day at Camp Kid Point includes time with friends, physical activities, on-site field trips and age-appropriate learning. With care and attention for every child, we weave Christian principles and Godly truths throughout all our interactions.
We will be practicing social distancing guidelines and separating study zones appropriately. Our staff will be available as needed to help support your child’s remote learning. If your child needs any devices or special materials for their remote learning such as a tablet or headphones, they will be required to bring them each day. We can provide basic materials such as blank paper and pencils if needed.
Remote Learning assistance is just that. We will work with parents and children to assist them in getting their work completed, however it will be up to the parents to check their child’s progress and communicate with their child what they need to have completed. There will be a schedule and structure for this program and children will be given many breaks between assignments to stretch, get their wiggles out, and shift their focus so that they can best complete their assignments. These times may vary due to their schedule of online learning.
Each child will need to bring a lunch box and a water bottle labeled with their name. Snacks are included in the price and provided.
Children are allowed to bring a cell phone at their own risk. We will have a cell phone station and children may “ask permission” to go check their cell phone for a limited amount of time. All cell phones must remain at the station. We encourage full participation in all learning and activities throughout each day.
Children will be grouped into team and each team will consist of 12 children. The same children will remain on the same team for the entire week. This is in accordance with CDC guidelines for day camps.
Masks will be encouraged but not required. We will provide your child with a buff that they wear around their neck. If you want your child to wear their mask as much as possible they will be on the red team. If you only want your child to wear their mask when social distancing is not possible your child will be on the green team. Dividing children into these two teams will allow us to enforce the level of mask wearing that their parents are comfortable with.
