Mission and Values

OUR MISSION

Point Church is to point people to Jesus.

These are our discipleship values for every person every day:

We build our lives on a firm foundation when we live obediently to the words of Jesus. (Luke 6:46-49)

We grow spiritually when we consistently connect with both God and other believers. (John 15:1-8)

We are the hands & feet of Jesus when we use our gifts, time & abilities to sacrificially serve others. (Ephesians 4:12)

We live sufficiently and give generously because Jesus is our treasure & we seek first His kingdom. (Matthew 6:19-34)

We intentionally B.L.E.S.S. those who do not yet know Christ in the hopes they will see Christ in us. (Genesis 12:1-3)

These values guide the Board of Elders as they lead the church:

We take bold steps of faith because God will always provide for what he calls us to do.

We have a heart to help those who are in a position where they cannot help themselves and in doing so serve Jesus.

We prioritize reaching and discipling the next generation.

We love the local church because it is the bride of Christ and primary vehicle to accomplish God’s mission in the world.

We desire to reach all demographics of our communities and work purposefully to achieve this goal.
